My Reaction To The "Phineas And Ferb" Season 5 Sneak Peek

     Today, Disney Channel released a sneak peek for the fifth season of its hit animated series "Phineas And Ferb". The new season, which will premiere on both Disney Channel and Disney XD at 8 pm EDT on June 5th with the episodes "Summer Block Buster" and "Cloudy With A Chance Of Mom", will be the first new season for the series since its original run ended in 2015. Below are my thoughts on the sneak peek.


  1. This has already been pointed out by other fans, but Phineas and Ferb are shown attending Danville Middle School when Season 4's "Doof 101" has them attending John P. Trystate Elementary, even though both episodes should take place during the same school year.
  2. I have two questions regarding the teacher's reaction to Phineas and Ferb's  report. First, does she actually believe them? Second, did she never bring any of this up to either of their parents at any parent-teacher conferences during the school year?
  3. The kids counting down to the end of the school year reminds me of the Tiny Toons doing the same thing in "How I Spent My Vacation".
  4. The teacher seems totally cool with Phineas standing on top of the desk during class. Granted, there's only a few seconds left in the school year, but still.
  5. I know a lot of fans are not happy with the decision to have Dr. Doofenshmirtz go back to being evil after turning good during the Season 4 finale, but I honestly can't see Perry's dynamic with him working with any of the show's other villains, so I can understand why Dan and Swampy made the decision to do that.
  6.  Nice callbacks to "Cheer Up Candace", "It's About Time", "The Remains Of The Platypus", "Candace Loses Her Head", "Lawn Gnome Beach Party Of Terror", "S'Winter" and "Rollercoaster".
  7. "They can't all disappear, can they?" Oh Candace, if this show has taught us anything, it's that yes, yes they can.
  8. Nice to see Jenny, Django, Stacy and Coltrane
  9. Poor Irving
  10. Vanessa doesn't seem at all surprised that her father has returned to being evil again.
  11. If the Flynn-Fletchers have their family portrait taken at the beginning of every summer, how come we never saw them get it taken way back at the beginning of the  series?

Addressing Hallmark Channel's "Blind" Spot

 Yesterday, it was announced that Sarah Drew ("Christmas In Vienna", "One Summer") would be portraying the titular character in an upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film "Guiding Emily". The movie, which is set to premiere on Friday September 8 at 9/8 Central, revolves around the titular Emily, who becomes blind following a rock-climbing accident. While Hallmark Channel has made tremendous strides when it comes to representation in the disabled community (For example, "The Christmas Bow" features a disabled character named Tess, played by real life Charcot-Marie-Tooth patient Joy Perry, and movies like "Our Christmas Journey" and "Color My World With Love" feature autistic actors and actors with Down Syndrome in prominent roles), one area that the network is still lagging behind in when it comes to authentic representation in the disabled community is blind or visually impaired actors. "The Way Home"-Jacob's disappearance and the Stable Time Loop Theory

       Hello. First, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wesley Eversole. I have been an avid watcher of Hallmark Channel for about four years now and have watched almost all of their series, including their most recent series, "The Way Home", which premiered on January 15. If you are not familiar with the series, let me give you a basic rundown on the premise.     The series basically revolves around the main  character, Alice Dhawan (played by Sadie Laflamme-Snow) discovering that she has the ability to travel through time and jumping into a pond out in the woods behind her maternal grandmother, Del Landry's (Andie McDowell) family farm. Who Is Casey Goodwin?

     Author's Note: The character of Casey Goodwin in "The Way Home" was introduced as a non-binary character on the show. Out of respect for both the character and their actress, this article will refer to Casey using the terms "They/Them". During Season Two of "The Way Home", viewers were introduced to Casey Goodwin (Vaughan Murrae), who claimed to be the grandchild of the recently deceased Evelyn Goodwin (Susan Hamann). While the season two finale hinted that Casey was not who they claimed to be when it was revealed that they were wearing a ring identical to the ring that Kat (Chyler Leigh) gave to Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), last night's episode (titled "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song") raised more questions about Casey's identity. Could a new "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie be coming soon?

       POSTables might not have to wait too long for news about the next movie in the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series.  The most recent issue of "Production Weekly", published yesterday March 7, lists "Signed Sealed Delivered Movie 12" as one of 160 productions. The news has already caught the attention of "Deliver Me A Podcast", the official podcast for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered", who posted it on their Instagram page and stories yesterday. While there has not been any official word from Hallmark Media about a new "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" film, this has to be promising for POSTables who have patiently waited for news on whether or not the series will be continued.     The most recent film in the series, "The Vows We Have Made", premiered on Hallmark Movies And Mysteries (now Hallmark Mystery) on October 17, 2021.   Hallmark Mystery (formerly Hallmark Movies And Mysteries) has released the premiere date for the newest film in the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" franchise. Titled "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale Of Three Letters", the movie will premiere at 9 pm EDT (8 PM CDT) on Friday July 12 on Hallmark Mystery.
