Who Is Casey Goodwin?

     Author's Note: The character of Casey Goodwin in "The Way Home" was introduced as a non-binary character on the show. Out of respect for both the character and their actress, this article will refer to Casey using the terms "They/Them".

During Season Two of "The Way Home", viewers were introduced to Casey Goodwin (Vaughan Murrae), who claimed to be the grandchild of the recently deceased Evelyn Goodwin (Susan Hamann). While the season two finale hinted that Casey was not who they claimed to be when it was revealed that they were wearing a ring identical to the ring that Kat (Chyler Leigh) gave to Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), last night's episode (titled "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song") raised more questions about Casey's identity. Near the end of the episode, Alice goes to The Point to meet with Noah (Alexander Eling). During their meeting, they are introduced to Max Goodwin, the grandson of Evelyn and son of Lewis Goodwin (Philip Riccio). Alice brings up Casey, only for Max to reveal that he's never heard of them. Assuming Max is telling the truth, this brings up a new set of questions about Casey's identity. Here are what I would consider to be the most likely explanations.


1. They're Alice's child from the future

This would be the most likely explanation, given that Casey was wearing the same ring as Alice during the season two finale. The only question is who is Casey's father? If it's Max, then Casey would still be telling the ruth about being part of the Goodwin family; they would just be Evelyn's great grandchild instead grandchild. But if it's Noah, than that means Casey lied about being a Goodwin. The only question is why.


2. They're Kat and Elliot's child from the future

While Casey being Alice's child from the future seems to be the most popular theory regarding their identity, another possibility is that they are Kat and Elliot's child from the future. While this may seem unlikely at first (If Kat was eighteen years old in 1999, she would be forty-four in 2025), it isn't completely impossible. The main problem with this theory is why would Casey go back in time to meet their own mother?

Addressing Hallmark Channel's "Blind" Spot

 Yesterday, it was announced that Sarah Drew ("Christmas In Vienna", "One Summer") would be portraying the titular character in an upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film "Guiding Emily". The movie, which is set to premiere on Friday September 8 at 9/8 Central, revolves around the titular Emily, who becomes blind following a rock-climbing accident. "The Way Home"-Jacob's disappearance and the Stable Time Loop Theory

I have been an avid watcher of Hallmark Channel for about four years now and have watched almost all of their series, including their most recent series, "The Way Home", which premiered on January 15. Could a new "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie be coming soon?

       POSTables might not have to wait too long for news about the next movie in the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series.  The most recent issue of "Production Weekly", published yesterday March 7, lists "Signed Sealed Delivered Movie 12" as one of 160 productions. The news has already caught the attention of "Deliver Me A Podcast", the official podcast for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered", who posted it on their Instagram page and stories yesterday. Hallmark Mystery Reveals Premiere Date For New "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Film

  Hallmark Mystery (formerly Hallmark Movies And Mysteries) has released the premiere date for the newest film in the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" franchise. Titled "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale Of Three Letters", the movie will premiere at 9 pm EDT (8 PM CDT) on Friday July 12 on Hallmark Mystery. "Phineas And Ferb" Season 5 Episode Titles Revealed

 Today, several titles from the upcoming fifth season of the hit Disney Channel animated series "Phineas And Ferb" were revealed. Disney first announced that they were reviving the series for two new seasons back in January, but today marks the first time that any of the episode titles have been revealed. Each of the two new seasons are expected to have twenty episodes each.
