       Today, Disney Channel revealed the premiere date for the upcoming spinoff series "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place". The series, a spinoff of the hit series "Wizards Of Waverly Place", which originally aired on Disney Channel from 2007 to 2012, will premiere on October 29 on Disney Channel and will drop the next day on Disney +.  The series premiere will have Alex (Selena Gomez) introducing her brother Justin (David Henrie) to Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown), a wizard in training.  The official trailer for the series can be seen below.

 Variety is reporting that a pilot for a sequel series to "Wizards Of Waverly Place", the hit Disney Channel Original Series, has been ordered. According to Variety, the series will have David Henrie reprise his role as Justin Russo from the original series while Selena Gomez will reprise her role as Alex Russo for the pilot. Other cast members announced include Mimi Gianopulos as Justin's wife and Alkaio Thiele as one of his two sons. It is not currently known if any of the other cast members from the original series will reprise their roles as well. "Wizards Of Waverly Place" originally aired on Disney Channel from October 12, 2007 to January 6, 2012. A sequel film titled "The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex" premiered on Disney Channel on March 15, 2013. More information about the new series can be found at the link below.
