What is up with Hallmark's lack of promotion for newest Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie?

Tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern Daylight Time, the newest movie in the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" franchise, "To The Moon And Back", will premiere on Hallmark Channel. However, unless you are a die hard POSTables fan who follows the series on a constant basis, you might not have been aware that a new movie was premiering at all. That is because neither Hallmark Channel nor Hallmark Mystery, the network that usually premieres new installments of the franchise, has released any previews or sneak peeks for the new film. By comparison, the previous film in the franchise, "A Tale Of Three Letters", which premiered on July 12, 2013,  had a preview released by June 8 and a sneak peek released by July 8. So far, however, the only thing Hallmark has done to promote "To The Moon And Back" is announce the release date back on March 20th.  Other than that, no previews or sneak peeks from the movie have been posted by Hallmark Channel.  There has been speculation that the lack of promotion for the film may stem from lead actor Eric Mabius's arrest back in February for an assault that took place at a bar in Florida after he became extremely intoxicated . Mabius was charged with misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest and has plead not guilty to both charges. While Mabius isn't the first Hallmark actor to find themselves in trouble with the law (Remember Lori Laughlin and the Varsity Blues scandal?), what makes Mabius's situation unique is that, unlike Loughlin, he is arguably the most recognizable cast member of his franchise.  It's possible that Hallmark Channel may have thought that promoting the film could have possibly been misconstrued as condoning Eric's behavior. (For the record, I would like to make it clear that I do not in any way, shape or form condone his behavior either, and I sincerely hope that he is able to get the help he needs.). It could arguably come across as hypocritical as well given that a previous installment of the franchise, "From The Heart", has a character deal with the repercussions of an alcohol related incident, although in that case, it was a drunk driving crash rather than an assault. At this point, however, we can only speculate as to why Hallmark has done almost nothing to promote this movie.

What do you all think? Why do you think Hallmark Channel isn't promoting "To The Moon And Back"? Let me know in the comments section below.
