Two years ago, it was announced that Disney Channel was reviving its longest running animated series, "Phineas And Ferb" for two new seasons on Disney+. Now, we finally have a rough idea of when the first of those two seasons will air.
According to Variety, Season Five will premiere sometime during this summer, although no specific premiere date has been announced yet. The announcement was made today, February 6, 2025, by series co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh during the "Disney Branded Television: Storytelling From Pre-School To Families" Panel at SCAD TVFest.
"Phineas And Ferb" originally ran on Disney Channel from August 17, 2007 to June 12, 2015. Between the end of the original series and the revival announcement on January 13, 2023, there was a one hour special ("The O.W.C.A. Files") that premiered on November 9, 2015; a crossover with "Milo Murphy's Law" ("The Phineas And Ferb Effect") that premiered on January 5, 2019; and a Disney+ film ("Candace Against The Universe") that premiered on August 28, 2020.
