Hallmark Channel Releases "The Way Home" Season Three Preview

Image
Today, Hallmark Channel released a preview for Season Three of its hit original series "The Way Home". The new season will premiere on Friday January 3, 2025 on Hallmark Channel and will begin streaming the next day on Hallmark +.     The preview can be seen below.

"The Santa Class" Addresses This Longtime Business Practice

Tonight, Hallmark Channel premiered its newest Countdown To Christmas movie "The Santa Class". While the movie's main plot revolves around the lead characters Dan (Benjamin Ayres) and Kate (Kimberley Sustad) training a potential group of Mall Santas at Kate's North Star Academy, there was one scene early in the movie that addressed a controversial real life issue. In this scene, Dan is informed by his boss Blaise (Alessandro Miro) that he is being fired from their company, The Saint Nicholas Academy. In attempting to justify his decision, Blaise claims that the company CEOs need the money for their year end bonuses. However, Dan brings up a very good point, asking Blaise why the CEOs can't just take a cut on their bonuses instead. In an era where Hallmark Channel has begun to address real life issues that families face, this is a very good question to ask, especially at Christmas time. According to the AFL-CIO's official website, the average CEO to wo...

"The Way Home" Season Three To Premiere On Hallmark Channel After All

After originally announcing that Season Three of its hit series "The Way Home" would premiere on Hallmark + on January 2nd, Hallmark Channel has apparently changed it mind and decided to premiere the new season on its network after all.  The announcement was made by "The Way Home" actresses Chyler Leigh and Andie MacDowell, who play Kat and Delilah Landry, respectively, during Week Three of the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City.      Season Three will now premiere on Hallmark Channel at 9 PM Eastern Time on Friday, January 3, 2025 and will be available to stream the next day on Hallmark +.  Sources https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/the-way-home-moves-hallmark-channel-season-3-1236248958/

"Leah's (Not So) Perfect Gift"

Last night, Hallmark Channel premiered its newest Countdown To Christmas film, "Leah's Perfect Gift". The movie revolves around the title character Leah (Emily  Arlook), who was raised Jewish, celebrating her first Christmas with her boyfriend Graham (Evan Roderick). I normally don't like to criticize Hallmark movies, especially Christmas movies, but this movie had SO many problems that I could not let it go. Here are just some of the problems I had with this movie. 1. First, I didn't think there was much chemistry between Leah and Graham. If I'm being honest, there was probably more chemistry in the three minute conversation between Leah and Tricia than there was in the entire movie between Leah and Graham. 2. Unless I missed it, I don't think Maddie's (Sidney Quesnelle) ex-girlfriend (Jade Pattenden) was ever given a name. Even IMDB just lists her as "Maddie's Ex-Girlfriend". Meanwhile, Graham's ex-girlfriend, Julia, was gi...
