Hallmark Channel And The Celebrity Paradox

 If you have been watching Hallmark Channel, and more specifically the Countdown To Christmas programming, over the past two years, you may have noticed something peculiar about some of the movies. Mainly, the fact that they reference other Hallmark Channel movies.     It started with 2022's "Haul Out The Holly", in which Emily (Lacey Chabert) is seen watching "Christmas In Vienna", which stars Brennan Elliott. (Elliott and Chabert have appeared together in nine movies that have premiered on either Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. They are, in order of release, All Of My Heart; A Christmas Melody; All Of My Heart: Inn Love; All Of My Heart: The Wedding; Crossword Mysteries: A Puzzle To Die For; Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder; Crossword Mysteries: Abracadaver; Crossword  Mysteries: Terminal Descent and Crossword Mysteries: Riddle Me Dead.)     This trend has continued so far in 2023 with two Countdown To Christmas films.  With today, November 23, being Thanksgiving, I thought I would rank the top ten Thanksgiving episodes of television series that I have seen. The episodes are ranked according to their rating on the Internet Movie Database, or IMDB. 1. "The Way Home" Season Two Premiere Date Revealed

 Today, Hallmark Channel announced the premiere date for the second season of its hit series, "The Way Home". According to Deadline.com, the second season will premiere at 9 PM EST on January 21. Season two will continue where season one left off, with the Landry women Kat (Chyler Leigh), Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) and Del (Andie McDowell) continuing to search for Jacob, who in the season one finale ,was revealed to have gone back in time to 1814. Joining them in their search is Kat's high school crush and Alice's science teacher, Elliot (Evan Williams). A preview of Season Two is below. (Credit to Hallmark Channel)

Top Ten Animated Shorts Featuring Mickey Mouse That I've Seen

Today, November 18, marks 95 years since the first Mickey Mouse animated short, "Steamboat Willie", was released in theaters. (Author's Note: It was actually the third short made, following "Plane Crazy" and "The Galloping Gaucho", but the first one to be released to the public). To celebrate the milestone, I have decided to post the top ten Mickey Mouse cartoons that I have seen based on their ratings on the Internet Movie Database, or IMDB. SAG-AFTRA Strike Ends

 This morning at 12:01 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST), the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, or SAG-AFTRA, officially ended its strike after 118 days.  The strike ended after SAG-AFTRA reached an agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. While the full terms of the agreement will not be revealed until it is reviewed by the SAG-AFTRA National Board, according to the official SAG-AFTRA Strike Website, the agreement includes "above pattern minimum compensation increases, unprecedented provisions for consent and compensation that will protect members from the threat of AI and for the first time establishes a streaming participation bonus. " With the strike officially over, union members can now resume promoting their projects. Update: The SAG-AFTRA National Board has approved the tentative agreement, with 86 % voting in favor. It will now go union membership for ratification. Update: SAG-AFTRA members ha
