 When it comes to ranking the ninety-four films that have won the Academy Award for Best Picture, there are several different criteria that can be used. These include both critic rankings and fan rankings. However, I believe the most objective way to measure a film's success is to look at how it fared in the one area that matters-how much money it made. That is why this list ranks the Academy Award winners for Best Picture based on its box office gross adjusted for inflation. I will list the films below, along with each film's adjusted box office gross and a link to the sources I am using.  Entertainment Tonight (ET) Online is reporting that Hallmark Channel is rebooting the "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries" with a prequel film and a new lead actress. Skyler Samuels ("The Rookie") will take on the titular Aurora Teagarden role originally played by Candace Cameron-Bure from 2015-2022 while Evan Roderick ("Arrow") will replace Peter Benson as Arthur Smith. Marilu Henner, who played Aurora's mother, Aida Teagarden, in the original series, will reprise her role in the new movie. Deadline.com is reporting that Hallmark Channel's newest original series, "The Way Home", has been renewed for a second season. The series, which premiered on January 15, revolves around a teenage girl named Alice Dhawan (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) who discovers she has the power to travel through time after traveling back to the year 1999, where she meets her mother Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh) as a teenager (Alex Hook). "The Way Home" also stars Andie McDowell ("Cedar Cove") as Alice's grandmother and Kat's mother Del Landry and Evan Williams as Elliot Augustine, Alice's science teacher and Kat's potential love interest.
