 Today, Hallmark Channel announced the premiere date for the second season of its hit series, "The Way Home". According to Deadline.com, the second season will premiere at 9 PM EST on January 21. Season two will continue where season one left off, with the Landry women Kat (Chyler Leigh), Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) and Del (Andie McDowell) continuing to search for Jacob, who in the season one finale ,was revealed to have gone back in time to 1814. Today, November 18, marks 95 years since the first Mickey Mouse animated short, "Steamboat Willie", was released in theaters. (Author's Note: It was actually the third short made, following "Plane Crazy" and "The Galloping Gaucho", but the first one to be released to the public).  This morning at 12:01 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST), the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, or SAG-AFTRA, officially ended its strike after 118 days.  The strike ended after SAG-AFTRA reached an agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. While the full terms of the agreement will not be revealed until it is reviewed by the SAG-AFTRA National Board, according to the official SAG-AFTRA Strike Website, the agreement includes "above pattern minimum compensation increases, unprecedented provisions for consent and compensation that will protect members from the threat of AI and for the first time establishes a streaming participation bonus. " With the strike officially over, union members can now resume promoting their projects. Update: The SAG-AFTRA National Board has approved the tentative agreement, with 86 % voting in favor.
