 Entertainment Tonight (ET) Online is reporting that Hallmark Channel is rebooting the "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries" with a prequel film and a new lead actress. Skyler Samuels ("The Rookie") will take on the titular Aurora Teagarden role originally played by Candace Cameron-Bure from 2015-2022 while Evan Roderick ("Arrow") will replace Peter Benson as Arthur Smith.
